JackTrip Radio allows you to seamlessly broadcast audio from your studio to listeners around the world. Here's what you need to know to get started.
Starting the broadcast
You can start your broadcast whenever from the radio tab by clicking "GO LIVE - PUBLIC" or "GO LIVE - UNLISTED"
Note: during the beta period, you don't need studio minutes for any time spent broadcasting to the public. The 30min limit on free users is also removed while streaming publicly. Have at it!
Public vs. Unlisted
You can choose to broadcast to the Public, which will have your broadcast show up on the JackTrip Radio page, or you can broadcast Privately. Only people you share the link with will be able to find your broadcast if it's Unlisted. You can also reset the link, which will invalidate the old link and URLs you've sent out previously.
Click the "Channel" tab to open up some settings for your broadcast:
These options will change how your broadcast looks on jacktrip.radio
By default, all Public broadcasts are recorded to the cloud for playback on demand. Once your public broadcast is finished, you can Share, Edit, Download, or listen back to the recording you made.
